Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
This is your time to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its greatest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often go through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you a photo of an object it encounters to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop that we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills quickly and leaves no trace of it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app that lets you schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't sweep areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off using your voice.
Its design is a step above the competition, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy robotic rather than a loud, loud one. Clean Base Automatic Dirt disposal System is also self-emptying which will cut down your cleaning time.

In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ swiftly eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place instead of scattering it across the floor. It even was able to take small gravel and sand that other robots can't. It did all without getting caught up in our pet's hair.
The j7+, while not as smart as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it cannot clean the stairs, is still a good option for those who need both mopping and vacuum. It's not expensive and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly.
While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however we've found it be less reliable than other apps that work with robotic cleaners. It can take a long time to download updates, and sometimes it's difficult to know whether the update is working until you see it in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
When you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, the best option is probably one that is a hybrid. This category of bots typically includes a built-in water tank which means they can vacuum and mop your home at the same time. They also come with a variety of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. The downside is that they can be pricey at full retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.
Roborock makes some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ doesn't perform to the standards. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't include some of the luxurious features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent choice when you're willing to compromise to save a few bucks.
The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles such as tables and walls, which makes it a good option for homes with a lot of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is an area that most robot vacuums of lower quality aren't able to meet. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is fantastic and has very few missed corners and on walls.
The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleaning, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map or change the labeling of rooms.
If you choose the Q5+ it comes with a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place, emptying the bin can be accomplished without difficulty. It features a large LCD screen that is very useful in setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This isn't an essential feature for most people, but it's one that can assist you in keeping the track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot easily.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively intelligent in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and function are among the best on the market however, it's also expensive.
Its base station looks good and is easily hidden when not in use, and its size is relatively compact. But the station's main selling factor is its ability to automate many tasks and functions that most other robots leave up to you. It can store clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require you to perform this.
Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the few robot vacuums I've tried that does an excellent job of collecting debris from plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly in the area of navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the home. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as some competitors, and doesn't come with a dock that lets the user to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets with plush padding.
Although it doesn't provide the same amount of cleaning configuration options in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for a comprehensive mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the price tag.
If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are alternatives available. Many of the eufy models cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and provides a similar in-app experience with more features like the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors and low and high-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums with the right balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning of hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at an affordable price point. It's simple to set up, just snap one of the side brushes on, switch on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock near an outlet for power and ample space for it to move but.
The G30 is a tiny device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, so it can be tucked away under couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Related Site is more subtle compared to some rival models. It has a sleek black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern over two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.
The way that the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from other models. It makes use of an integrated map to create a picture of the immovable items that are in its path. It remembers the items it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. If it requires a recharge, it automatically returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning from where it started.
The sleek G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more built, incurs lower recurring expenses, charges more quickly and has the same battery life, while providing superior performance on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and comes with an array of boundaries that keep it away from certain areas. The G30 however is more affordable and is much simpler to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't have to be emptied as often, and it has less difficulty with bulky items such as cereal.
